I have a Sony Tablet S with 3G bought second hand. I tried putting a 3G sim in the tablet, but it doesnot detects the sim. on the lock screen it gives message (please insert sim) else it works perfectly fine with Wifi.

Does anyone of you have faced the same problems with 3G sim.

I tired the askthe person I bought it from but he said he never used the 3G service on it.

Tablet model is SGPT113SE/S and software model is 3.2.1 (R2).
