Let’s start by saying that I love Sony products, I have always bought Sony TV’s and will not have anything else. This product has really let me down though! I bought it about a year and a half ago and initially it was great, lovely sound and fits perfectly in my TV cabinet. However it no longer works. It turns on and doesn’t know what to do. Sometimes I get sound but most of the time no sound, the on screen menu also gets confused. I am so disappointed with Sony on this speaker, it looks great but the longevity of it is poor. It’s also now outside my warranty so I have lost out. I wouldn’t mind if I had used it constantly for the last year and a half but I reckon I have only used it for about 30 hours maximum. Come on Sony help me out here!

De ingebouwde sub-woofer werkt goed. De voorgeprogrammeerde instellingen inclusief Clear+ zijn goed gekozen en gemakkelijk in het gebruik. De HDMI communicatie met de XE90 TV is niet optimaal ook bij gebruik van een Hi-Speed kabel. Altijd beide afstandsbedieningen nodig en dat is jammer. Als je geen losse sub-woofer wilt is dit een prima oplossing.

Recently purchased this due to finding dialogue sometimes difficult to catch. Now find that speech is clearer. I prefer the sound base to sound bars for two reasons. Firstly it slightly elevates the tv and secondly it does not "hide" the infra red "receiver" on the tv. Whilst there are many features I was really only interested in clarity.

I bought this base speaker system about a month ago to improve the sound of my TV and am not disappointed listening to sound tracks on movies is superb, I have also connected my smart phone via bluetooth to listen to music it was very good and not being technically minded I found the instructions really easy to follow another plus. Having owned a Hitachi sound bar I was used to having decent sound to go with good picture quality. I bought this a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to improve the sound from the TV, particularly when watching music DVDs and Blu-rays. It does this superbly, giving a rich full sound which fills the room. It also plays the music files on my iPod over Bluetooth and enhances them whilst doing so. Set up was extremely easy using ARC via HDMI on a Sony Bravia TV. The unit is relatively inconspicuous as it sits under the tv which it is more than capable of supporting.

Heb dit toestel reeds enkele weken in mijn bezit. Vergeleken met andere merken vind ik het een uitstekende sound bar die doet wat het moet doen namelijk een warme klank door gans de kamer weergeven. Het installeren is vrij eenvoudig en dankzij de HDMI kabel (niet bijgeleverd) gaat alles zeer vlot. Via een internetkabel kan je de meest recente updates binnenhalen zodat je toestel steeds up to date blijft.
